anarchy in harmony

Growing up with musicians in my family and learning to play piano and trumpet early on, music has been a defining aspect of my life. I'm a multi-instrumentalist & vocalist, with a knack for harmony and vocal arrangement. I've been known to do everything from recording and writing music, to artist and event promotion, as well as developing a deep knowledge and taste for all genres of music.

It started in church choir, then first chair trumpet for the California Honor Band, then winning a band competition with my band The Velcro Swingers at the age of 15. I also spent several years after that spinning electronic and dance records at large raves and festivals. I saw myself early on as a professional musician.

And then in 2002 my band Simplistic reached professional status with the support of some of the biggest names in the industry, signing a $100,000 deal with a Warner Brothers company owned by Mike Shinoda of Linkin Park.

I've made music with Mike Shinoda [Linkin Park], Danny Lohner [Nine Inch Nails, A Perfect Circle, Marilyn Manson, & QOTSA], and Joshua Eustice [Puscifer]; as well as a large list of talented Sacramento musicians. I've developed a respected skill set among my peers that molds with any group, any style, and a versatile range of instrumental and vocal arrangements; and even some voice acting.

I've performed hundreds of concerts in front of thousands of people and continued writing and recording all these years with a passion for creating and performing originals and covers. I pride myself on playing with musicians who challenge me to keep up and get better. And I'm deeply grateful for all of those experiences.
